Last week I give my student a list of questions in the form of survey. What is the main problem they face when they use Windows. The result vary like :
- Forgot windows password
- Virus problem
- Play multimedia
- Read pdf file

They want to enter their Windows Box and I’m going to explain step by step guide reset windows password for free.
As title state, I’m going to use USB Flash Disk as media for hacking my windows box 🙂
Choose quick format and wait the process until complete.
Download ntpasswd from http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ or from here (in case main source is down)
Extract the iso
Use winrar or izarc for extract the content and copy to flash disk.
Make usb flash disk bootable
Next step to do is make usb flash disk bootable.
Click Start -> Run
Type cmd and hit Enter.
You should enter command promt session.

Yes, summary of the command are :
- Go to usb flash disk directory ( f: )
- See the file list ( dir /p/w)
- Make it bootable ( syslinux.exe -ma f:)
Make sure to change F: to other like G: or H: , depend on your Windows setting.
The process should work smoothly and the only addition to our usb flash disk is ldlinux.sys file.
