After set my laptop for hybrid storage configuration (replace my dvd drive with ssd) then I can continue to optimize my Windows box. Everything is fine during installation and program configuration except one : Fusetools
Yes, this program need to install android sdk in standard path. In nutshell they need username without space due to gnu make limitation.
I try to use the workaround but I can not do that (perhaps I don’t get the explanation work for my case, download .zip file then extract it then what should I do with the file)
I decide to rename my username and eliminate the space, here’s the steps :
Create / activate administrator account
Search for cmd then run it as administrator
Type this command :
net user administrator /active:yes
As my windows 10 ‘hidden administrator’ account activated then I can continue .
1st Rename, get regedit to rename username
get into these path
Click the profile then find my username
Click “ProfileImagePath” and the value.
Restart the computer.
2nd rename, rename directory
1st rename needed to overcome error message of system already connect the folder.
This step is simple, just locate my folder name under C:\users
Continue install fusetools android
This time no more error from fusetools installer as it find my directory now meet their standard.
till it finished
Well, I just curious about another repositories.cfg warning but I’ll find out later.
Happy Fusetools everyone!
