Today I’m going to continue Home Server series with a server named “WampServer” . WampServer also work magically, all component like Apache, PHP and MySQL installed plus others such as ; phpmyadmin, sqlbuddy, xdebug. This software also came with convenient control called Aestan tray Menu where all aspect of server controlled.
In this post I will show you how to install WampServer version 2.1e for 32 bits.
Download latest version of WampServer
Get latest version from here.
Choose the right version (32 bits or 64 bits)
Save to My Document of other folder.
Install Wampserver on Windows 7
Double click installer to start install.
Welcome screen will be displayed, you’ll get these software at the end of install process :
Apache : 2.2.17
MySQL : 5.5.8
PHP : 5.3.5
PHPMyAdmin : 3.3.9
SqlBuddy : 1.3.2
XDebug : 2.1.0-5.3
Click Next to continue.
Accept license agreement and click Next.
Select Destination Location where WampServer will be installed.
Click Next when you’re done.
Select additional Task and click Next.
Ready to install, wampserver setup program will display summary of install. Click Install to start the process.
Wampserver will ask you about which default browser, just let it as is. Click Open button.
Windows firewall will ask you about apache program, just choose “Private network” and click “Allow Access”.
PHP mail parameters
Let it as is, click Next.
Completing wampserver setup wizard by click Finish button.
Start Wampserver Service on Windows 7
Check your tray and you’ll see little icon with w character. Right click that icon and you’ll see this.
Click Start All Services to run all program that came with wampserver.
Check if Wampserver works
Open web browser like firefox or internet explorer and open this address :

Congratulation, you have working apache, php and mysql software installed on your computer.
